Foundations laid at Autoliv and Delphi Powertrain developments in Poland

Delphi’s manufacturing expansion in Błonie and Autoliv’s new development in Jelcz

We were delighted to attend ground-breaking ceremonies for Delphi’s manufacturing expansion in Błonie and Autoliv’s new development in Jelcz.

Delphi’s expansion will provide additional capacity for automotive parts and components production with 18,000 sq.m of additional manufacturing area. The approx. 170m PLN facility will employ over 250 people.

Autoliv is also expanding its production complex in Jelcz. This is currently the second largest airbag production facility in the world. By 2022, Autoliv envisages that it will grow production volume to 34 million modules per annum. This project is planned for completion in early 2020.
