Good luck to NUI Galway and Boston Scientific for the GEMS (Global Energy Management System) which has been shortlisted in the RIA Awards tonight.

GEMS has been shortlisted in the US-Ireland Research Innovation Category Award. The GEMS initiative was led by researchers from NUI Galway and Boston Scientific. It has empowered Boston Scientific to become the first global medical device company to commit to being carbon neutral by 2030.  PM Group was pleased to be a sponsor of the GEMS initiative.

GEMS’ methodology assists multinational companies to deliver optimal network energy performance, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and enable informed decision making on energy investment projects across multiples sites and geographies.
