A Greener Future – Raising all our Standards

This is the second time that PM Group has won the award. The Green Awards is a leading platform for sustainability leadership and innovation in Ireland.

"Each year, we challenge ourselves to push the bar higher. As engineers we're in a unique position. We can not only reduce the impact on the environment from our own activity, but also that of our clients." said Barry McDermott, Group Head of Sustainability. 

We recognise that no one company can achieve the goals necessary to reduce our environmental impacts. In 2018 PM Group signed up to the Business in the Community Carbon Pledge. The Pledge commits us to reducing our greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030. We are already on our way and have achieved a 14% reduction in our CO2 emissions to date.

As part of our Sustainability Programme we are certified to the ISO 14001 environmental management system. Using this standard, we track and improve our environmental performance across a range of measures. We also design and deliver buildings certified to the LEED and BREEAM international standards.
