We were pleased to donate IT equipment to help schools in the wider Birmingham community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Facilitated by Solihull Council’s Careers Hub Team, laptops, desktop PCs and monitors were donated to both Lyndon School and Langley School in the Solihull borough.

The Careers Hub, part of The Careers and Enterprise Company’s network of hubs, is focused on supporting schools and colleges to deliver excellent careers education. Much of this has been online and remote during the pandemic.

'We are very grateful for the IT equipment donation which will make a significant difference to the learning experiences of many of our young people,” said Clare Thorpe, Head Teacher, Langley School.

David Hawkins, Assistant Principal at Lyndon School told us, “We could not be more appreciative of the donation made and kindness shown by PM Group. During a time where the education sector and the wider business industry has had to face many challenges, it speaks volumes that a company would reach out and demonstrate such wonderful community spirit and support.”

Paul George, PM Group’s CR Champion for Birmingham added, “We are really aware that the different restrictions have had an enormous impact on students’ education within our community. The IT equipment donation was one way to help local schools provide the best education possible for their students in such challenging times. A big thank you also to our IS & Facilities Manager Manzar Bashir, for his hard work in preparing the equipment and making this possible”.
