PM Group and its personnel have certified to the VCA (‘Veiligheid, gezondheid en milieu Checklist Aannemers’) Safety Standard.

The VCA Standard is vital for engineers working in the petrochemical and pharmaceutical sectors in Belgium and the Netherlands. The Standard is awarded to companies for a three year period and to individuals for ten years. Elsewhere, PM Group is certified to ISO 45001, the international safety standard.

“Millions of hours are worked across our international operations every year. Our Number 1 priority is to ensure everyone is safe every day. We start with culture. Health and safety is personal to every one of us. A ‘Balanced Scorecard’ approach brings this code into action in our day-to-day work,” said Kieran Lane, Operations Manager Belgium.

All of our project and construction sites in Belgium and the Netherlands, are fully compliant with the VCA standard. It is a mark of trust for our clients that we understand and fully support their safety needs. It is particularly important for our construction teams to have a common safety language and philosophy supported by the VCA Standard.
