Transforming for the future

Supporting Bayer, PM Group helped to develop a masterplan to transition its Berkeley site from an API campus to focusing on lifesaving Biologics therapeutics.

PM Group has subsequently also supported other projects at Berkeley, including a recently launched state-of-the-art Cell Therapy facility.

Forward-thinking vision

The 46-acre site includes manufacturing, laboratory and administrative spaces. The site masterplan supports Bayer’s current drug manufacturing expertise and outlines the company’s forward-thinking vision to maximize manufacturing capacity.

The plan adds more than 650,000 sq.ft. for advanced new product development and launch facilities up to 2052.

The design includes open green spaces, bike paths and walk ways which unify the campus, and allow the facilities to be integrated with the surrounding environment. PM Group's team also provided a 3D promotional video of the masterplan.

New Cell Therapy facility

Also at the Berkeley campus, PM Group recently supported the development of a new 100,000 sq.ft. state-of-the-art Cell Therapy development and manufacturing facility.

This is part of Bayer’s plan to transform the campus site for the manufacturing of Parkinson's Cell Therapy treatment clinical material.

For this building, PM Group’s scope included engineering design, architecture, construction administration and CQV assistance.
